Another day, another excellent free album. The album cover is ugly -- the music is dark, grimey, and ugly too. El-P produces a few songs, and you can hear his Def Jux sound all over the album. Stereogum says this about eXquire: "He’s the perma-drunk guy in your building, the one who’s still partying loudly at 4 a.m. but who never gets told to keep it down, since he makes everyone vaguely nervous." That sounds about right. He's the type of guy who can be a lot of fun in small doses, but if you hang around for too long you start to notice that the guy has problems.
