The Flaming Lips continue to churn out EPs in 2011. So far they've done five -- the Gummy Song Skull, the Gummy Song Fetus, and collaborative ones with Neon Indian, Prefuse 73, and Lightning Bolt. They're all of similar quality, with a couple of gems and a couple of throwaway tracks on each. But even if they've been inconsistent, it's cool to see the Lips experiment and collaborate with different artists. The band is currently working on a 6 hour song.
