Chillwave was a genre with a short expiration date from the get go. By my count, only 2 bands survived the sophomore slump. Only 1 of them survived the sophomore slump AND continued to make chillwave music. That band is Neon Indian. Listen to Neon Indian's sophomore album, Era Extraña, here.
